About The Position

Jim Coleman Nissan Infiniti is currently seeking an experienced Sales Manager to join our leadership team at our newly remodeled, state-of-the-art dealership in Bethesda, Maryland. Our dealership is ideally located next to major highways and the Westfield Montgomery Mall, providing exceptional visibility and access to one of the most dynamic markets in the DMV region. About Jim Coleman Automotive Jim Coleman Automotive is a third-generation, family-owned dealership group founded in 1968 by Mr. William Coleman. The Coleman family has been selling and servicing vehicles in the Washington metropolitan area since the 1950s. Mr. Coleman believed that customers in Bethesda and Washington deserved a higher level of service and professionalism from automotive retailers. His vision was to build a dealership that delivered an exceptional, customer-focused buying experience - a philosophy that continues to guide our organization today. Under Jim Coleman's leadership, the company expanded significantly in the 1980s and 1990s, adding Toyota, Infiniti, Honda, Jaguar, and Land Rover franchises. Today, Jim Coleman Automotive operates nine dealerships across Maryland, serving customers in Bethesda, Silver Spring, Clarksville, and Ellicott City. The organization is now led by Patrick and Brendan Coleman, who remain committed to growing the company while preserving the strong culture and customer-first values established by their family.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3+ years automotive industry experience required
  • Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills
  • Proven ability to create positive customer experiences
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Weekend availability required

Nice To Haves

  • Sales Manager experience preferred ( Nissan/Infiniti experience a plus )
  • Experience with ERA-Ignite, Dealertrack, and menu selling systems preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate, and support the sales team to achieve monthly and annual sales objectives
  • Develop and execute sales strategies, promotions, and goals that drive performance
  • Train, coach, interview, and mentor sales staff to support their professional development
  • Manage showroom operations and team schedules to maintain a productive sales environment
  • Monitor and improve CSI scores to ensure an outstanding customer experience
  • Assist customers and support sales efforts when needed
