The Automotive Sales Consultant at Valley Motor City Columbus is responsible for guiding customers through the vehicle purchasing process by understanding their needs, presenting appropriate vehicle options, and delivering a transparent and positive buying experience. This role builds lasting customer relationships, achieves individual performance goals, and contributes to the overall success and reputation of the dealership through exceptional service and product knowledge.

Requirements

Valid driver's license with clean driving record, clean background, and clean drug screen
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly and provide an exceptional customer experience.
Self-motivated and goal-oriented mindset, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
Professional appearance and positive attitude, with a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends (Sundays off), and holidays as needed in a retail environment.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients to understand their vehicle needs and preferences.
Manage the sales process for new and used vehicles, ensuring a smooth and efficient transaction for customers.
Identify opportunities for account growth and work proactively to achieve sales targets.
Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies for expanding the customer base and increasing market share.
Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and competitor offerings.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
Coordinate with the finance department to ensure accurate billing and payment processing.
Attend industry events and networking opportunities to promote Valley Motor City Columbus CJDR and its offerings.
