About The Position

Modern Automotive Network is seeking a driven and resourceful Recruiter to join our team and support our Fixed Operations departments, with a primary focus on automotive technician recruitment. This role will be responsible for identifying, attracting, and engaging top technician talent while supporting hiring efforts for additional service department positions across our dealership network. The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized, and skilled at building relationships with candidates, trade schools, and industry professionals.

Requirements

  • Previous recruiting experience preferred, ideally within automotive, technical trades, or skilled labor recruiting
  • Strong understanding of the automotive service environment is a plus
  • Experience sourcing candidates through job boards, social media, and networking
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple openings across various dealership locations
  • Proficiency with recruiting platforms and Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

  • Source, recruit, and engage qualified automotive technicians and service department candidates for multiple dealership locations
  • Develop and maintain strong candidate pipelines through job boards, social media, networking, and industry outreach
  • Build relationships with technical schools, trade programs, and training institutions to identify emerging technician talent
  • Screen resumes and conduct initial candidate interviews
  • Coordinate interviews with Service Managers and dealership leadership
  • Manage job postings across multiple recruiting platforms
  • Track candidate progress and maintain accurate records within recruiting systems
  • Support recruitment for additional fixed operations roles, including service advisors, porters, and support staff as needed
  • Represent Modern Automotive Network at career fairs, technician events, and recruiting initiatives
  • Work closely with dealership leadership to understand staffing needs and hiring priorities
