Van Horn Reconditioning Center in Plymouth has an outstanding opportunity for an Automotive Parts Counter Person!! The Parts Counter Person is responsible for answering questions by phone and in person, providing parts quotes for internal and external customers, and stocking and ordering parts. Family Born. Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
Valid driver’s license
Computer knowledge is a plus

Nice To Haves

Previous automotive experience is preferred
Previous parts experienced is preferred

Responsibilities

Working in conjunction with the service department to look up required parts for jobs in the shop
Helping service advisors and technicians by creating parts estimates
Receiving, pulling and billing parts
Creating orders within the Mopar ordering system
Placing orders and creating purchase orders for outside vendors
Working with customers over the phone and in house with over counter sales.
Assist parts manager in maintaining a clean and efficient parts inventory
Order parts as needed to keep the parts inventory at the correct level
Develop and maintain productive relationships with all vendors
Expedite parts and/or search alternative sources when determining defective parts
Maintain accurate accounting record for purchased and/or returned parts
Stock in all incoming parts and reconcile parts invoice and actual parts received
