Automotive Mobile Diagnostic Technician Apprentice
About The Position
Protech Automotive Solutions is seeking a highly talented, dedicated, and quality-focused Mobile Diagnostic Technician Apprentice. This role involves mentorship and training under an experienced technician to learn how to perform diagnostic and mechanical repairs, adhering to OE specifications and repair standards. Apprentices will gain confidence as automotive mobile technicians across a wide range of manufacturers. Protech Automotive Solutions has over 20 years of experience in various repairs, including hands-on mechanical repair and replacement of suspension, drive modules, frames, diagnostic opportunities requiring advanced knowledge of computerized vehicle control systems, and soft touch repair and replacement of delicate vehicle interior trim components. The company offers a fast-paced work environment with opportunities for advanced skill development, providing the latest computerized diagnostic equipment, factory diagnostic, and programming software components and tools. Requirements
- Be at least 21+ years of age
- Have a valid driver’s license and be eligible for coverage under our insurance policy
- Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including background and MVR checks
- Ability to do consistent physical activity – reach below and above shoulder level, kneeling, bending, and squatting, and lifting objects over 50 lbs.
- Be able to understand instructions – written and verbal
- Can prioritize competing tasks and adapt easily to a fast-paced environment
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S. with no restrictions

Responsibilities
- Learn how to perform diagnostic and mechanical repairs under the supervision of an experienced technician
- Perform repairs to vehicles by following OE specifications and repair standards
