About The Position

Caliber Auto Glass has an immediate job opening for a Mobile Auto Glass Technician Apprentice. This role is designed for an individual to learn and be mentored to perform all-purpose duties related to automotive glass repair and replacement. Responsibilities include replacing and repairing automotive glass, conducting pre and post inspections with customers, utilizing various tools and scanning equipment, documenting repair orders on a mobile device, and skillfully removing and installing trim panels and interior parts without damage. The apprentice will also be expected to effectively prioritize and manage their time to complete daily tasks.

Requirements

• Be at least 21+ years of age
• Have a valid driver’s license and be eligible for coverage under Caliber’s insurance policy
• Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including background and MVR checks
• Ability to do consistent physical activity – reach below and above shoulder level, kneeling, bending, and squatting, and lifting objects over 50 lbs
• Be able to understand instructions – written and verbal
• Can prioritize competing tasks and adapt easily to a fast-paced environment
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. with no restrictions

Nice To Haves

• Previous collision experience
• Collision Vo-Tech certification

Responsibilities

• Learn and be mentored to perform all-purpose duties related to automotive glass
• Replacement of automotive glass by following quality standards
• Perform repairs on damaged glass
• Complete a pre and post inspection with customer
• Utilize various tools and scanning equipment
• Complete documentation of repair orders on mobile device
• Remove and install trim panels & interior parts without damaging
• Effectively prioritize and manage your time to complete assigned daily tasks
