Health and Wellness membership reimbursement up to $75.00 per month Employee discounts Fun team atmosphere Position Overview: The Express Service Advisor is responsible for scheduling service work in the service department and selling additional needed services to customers. The Express Service Advisor is the dealership's first-line customer relations and service representative. Requirements

  • You have a minimum of one year of prior automotive experience
  • Possess a valid driver's license and have a favorable motor vehicle record
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
  • Authorized to work in the United States

Responsibilities

  • Greet each customer in a prompt, courteous manner, and let customers who are waiting in line know that they will be serviced soon
  • Communicate with service customers to determine the nature of the mechanical problems
  • Secure agreement from customers before repairs; cover cost estimate; and approximate time when the vehicle's work will be completed
  • Obtain customer and vehicle data
  • Schedule appointments using dealership-approved forms
  • Communicate the need for additional work when needed; explain the details to the customer, including the extra cost and time consideration, and document properly on rthe epair order
  • Handle telephone inquiries regarding work in process and appointments, and return phone messages promptly
  • Advise customers of parts ordered and make an appointment to have them installed before the customer leaves
