This role involves administrative tasks and customer service duties, including processing warranty paperwork, scheduling service appointments, and supporting cashier and rental agent functions. Strong communication skills and the ability to work in both office and retail settings are essential.

Requirements

  • Experience coding warranty repair orders using correct warranty codes.
  • Ability to provide backup support for cashier and rental agent responsibilities.
  • Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to follow directions with minimal supervision.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Process warranty documentation to ensure compliance with factory or distributor requirements.
  • Provide backup assistance for the service cashier and rental agent when needed.
  • Stay updated on factory recalls and relevant service announcements.
  • Manage outstanding warranty claims effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records for services and customers according to warranty policies.
  • Answer incoming calls using provided scripts and schedule sales or service appointments.
  • Make outbound calls to set appointments and arrange necessary follow-ups.
  • Use scripted communication to engage customers for appointment scheduling and confirmations.
  • Reschedule missed appointments and plan future customer contacts as required.
  • Keep customer information current in the database.
  • Generate and send letters, postcards, and emails for follow-up reminders as scheduled.
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries from the website.
  • Contact internet customers via phone and email to arrange appointments and conduct follow-ups.
  • Notify appropriate departments when appointments are scheduled.
  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly performance targets.
