About The Position

Capital Ford of Charlotte Is Seeking a Motivated Automotive Commercial/Fleet Sales Consultant to Join Our Charlotte Regional Team. This Role Focuses on Prospecting and Developing New Commercial and Fleet Customers Throughout the Charlotte Area. The Ideal Candidate Has a Strong Background in Business-to-business Sales , Enjoys Building Relationships with Small to Mid-sized Businesses, and Thrives in a Performance-driven, Consultative Sales Environment. Compensation & Benefits Highly Competitive Commission-based Pay Structure Health Insurance Paid Time off (PTO) 401(K) Retirement Plan Key Responsibilities Identify and Call on Small to Mid-sized Businesses Operating Fleets of 5–50 Vehicles Within the Charlotte Region Prospect and Develop New Fleet and Commercial Vehicle Customers Utilize a Consultative Sales Approach to Present a Comprehensive Product Offering Build and Maintain Strong Relationships with Fleet Managers, Business Owners, and Operators Understand Each Client’s Unique Operational Needs and Provide Tailored Solutions (After Extensive Training) Prepare Proposals, Pricing Quotes, and Sales Documentation Negotiate Pricing and Contract Terms Under the Guidance of the Commercial Fleet Director Attend Regional Business Networking Events Participate in Industry Trade Shows and Exhibitions As Needed Relevant Experience & Qualifications Prior Experience in Commercial or Fleet Vehicle Sales or Fleet Management Services Proven Ability to Build and Manage a Strong Sales Pipeline Through Phone, Video, and In-person Outreach Comfortable Spending 2–3 Weekdays in the Field; Reliable Personal Transportation Required Proficiency with CRM Systems (Dealertrack, Salesforce, or Similar) Demonstrated Success in Commission-based Sales Roles, Including Selling Long-term, High-value Contracts Strong Written, Verbal, and Phone Communication Skills Employment Contingent upon Successful Completion of a Background Check (Criminal, Drug, and Driving History) Highly Preferred Experience & Qualifications Bilingual (Spanish/English) Understanding of Vehicle Financing Knowledge of Ford Vehicles and Ford pro Services WE ARE CAPITAL! Requirements

  • Prior Experience in Commercial or Fleet Vehicle Sales or Fleet Management Services
  • Proven Ability to Build and Manage a Strong Sales Pipeline Through Phone, Video, and In-person Outreach
