About The Position

We are seeking a diligent, detail-oriented Automotive Accounting Clerk to join our centralized accounting team. This role provides crucial support across our multi-dealership organization, ensuring accurate, timely financial reporting and compliance. Individuals should be experienced in dealership accounting and take pride in precise work.

Requirements

• Mandatory previous experience in a dealership accounting office (AP, AR, or Title)
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and computer literacy
• Ability to handle high - volume data entry with accuracy and speed
• Excellent communication skills, reliability, and a collaborative attitude

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with motor vehicle processing -Pennsylvania DMV/title regulations is a strong plus
• Experience with DealerTrack DMS system a plus

Responsibilities

• Prepare and reconcile bank deposits
• Post internal entries
• Input new vehicle inventory
• Collaborate with title clerk to process PA motor vehicle work, MSO's, and dealer trade paperwork
• Enter, report, and maintain AP/AR files
• Reconcile statements and ledgers to ensure accuracy
• Review and reconcile assigned GL accounts, reserve accounts, factory payable, and floor plan payable
• Clean assigned schedules weekly to maintain accuracy
• Assist in monthly closing procedures as directed, month end close overtime required
• Work collaboratively with other departments and dealership personnel.
