Role Summary Agilent is committed to being the premier laboratory partner providing powerful and easy-to-use sample preparation workflow solutions to our customers. The successful candidate will leverage their scientific knowledge and technical skills to help develop pre-optimized automated sample preparation procedures to improve workflow data quality and increase sample throughput while decreasing time-to-results and labor costs. As a Scientist, the candidate will be an integral part of the Automation Platform Applications team and will be responsible for: Providing scientific design input and testing to enable the translation of manual sample preparation processes as defined by biologists and analytical chemists into automated applications for the AssayMAP and Bravo liquid handling platforms, which in combination with analytical instruments will enable complete workflows. Helping improve existing sample preparation applications and creating application notes in collaboration with customers and business partners to meet evolving customer needs. Providing scientific input to the application engineers creating intuitive application user interfaces for bench scientists and technicians so they can use the applications without becoming automation experts. Defining, documenting, and executing functional test cases that verify the performance of sample preparation applications to ensure out-of-the-box operation. Collaborating with technical writers to create comprehensive installation and user documentation for sample preparation applications. Working with cross-functional teams to launch sample preparation applications. Supporting the resolution of customer-reported issues. Want to be at the cutting edge of workflow development?
