Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in automation engineering or test automation development
- Deep, hands-on expertise with Playwright, including framework creation, setup, configuration, and custom scripting
- Strong programming experience in languages commonly used with Playwright (e.g., TypeScript, JavaScript, or Python)
- Experience designing scalable, modular automation solutions for web applications
- Strong understanding of automated testing principles, CI/CD pipelines, quality engineering, and DevOps workflows
- Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in fast-paced, Agile environments
- Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) systems
- Experience integrating automation into large-scale enterprise platforms
- Background in performance testing, API automation, or test orchestration
- Exposure to cloud-based testing environments
- Test automation or QA certifications are a plus but not required
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and enhance automated testing frameworks using Playwright as the primary tool
- Build and maintain reusable automation components that ensure consistency, scalability, and high code quality
- Partner with development teams, QA engineers, and product owners to define automation strategy and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Conduct root-cause analysis and provide meaningful insights on defects, failures, and quality risks
- Ensure automation is aligned with modern engineering best practices and supports rapid, reliable deployments
- Optimize automation execution performance and identify opportunities to enhance efficiency
- Contribute to documentation, standards, and continuous improvements of the automation ecosystem
- Collaborate across teams to ensure automation coverage supports business priorities and technical needs

- $124,000–$141,000 annually or $70–$80 per hour. Final compensation is determined based on skill alignment, years of experience, and fair, market-based rates by geography.
