About The Position

Buckeye Fire Equipment company is seeking an Automation Controls Technician to advance their career with an innovation-driven company. This role involves building control panels, A-B PLC and HMI programming, and maintaining automated machines and equipment using technical skills and knowledge.

Requirements

• A two-year technical degree, or relevant work experience may substitute for degree.

Responsibilities

• Build custom panels designed for and by Buckeye for production use.
• Program and maintain automated machines utilizing equipment such as programmable controllers, HMI’s, servos, and VFD's.
• Perform machine and control panel wiring.
• Diagnose, replace, and repair faulty mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical components of machines and equipment throughout the plant.
