About The Position

The selected engineer will support the Ground-based Midcourse Defense (GMD) Weapon System (GWS) program as an individual contributor on the Architecture & Delivery (A&D) Automated Test & Verification (ATV) Team. This role develops and supports test automation software products that enable execution of the GWS contract on behalf of the Missile Defense Agency (MDA).

Requirements

U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law
Active Secret Clearance required
Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field from an accredited institution
Professional experience in one or more phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including software design requirements, application development, integration, testing, or deployment.
Professional software development experience using Python or similar programming languages.
Experience working in Agile development environments.
Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Fisheye/Crucible, and Bitbucket.

Nice To Haves

Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
Experience developing technical solutions in collaboration with product teams.
Experience with test automation software development.
Experience using Jenkins and Elasticsearch.
Experience serving in Agile/Scrum leadership roles such as Scrum Master or Product Owner.
Current CompTIA Security+ certification.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, integrate, test, and deploy software products that support automated test and verification efforts.
Contribute to software development activities across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements, design, development, integration, testing, and deployment.
Partner with product teams to develop technical solutions that support program objectives.
Support Agile development activities and participate in team execution using collaboration and configuration management tools.
