We are seeking an AutoCAD Designer / Drafter to support engineering, maintenance, and capital projects within a regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. This role plays a critical part in maintaining accurate, compliant technical documentation that supports safe, efficient, and compliant operations across production, utilities, and cleanroom facilities. What You’ll Be Doing As an AutoCAD Designer / Drafter, you will partner closely with Engineering, Maintenance, Facilities, and Project teams to create and maintain high-quality technical drawings that reflect current site conditions and support ongoing improvements. Key responsibilities include: Developing, revising, and maintaining AutoCAD drawings such as: Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) Equipment and facility layouts Cleanroom layouts and classifications Utility systems (purified water, clean steam, compressed air, HVAC, electrical, and instrumentation) Updating as-built drawings following equipment installation, upgrades, or facility modifications Managing drawing revisions, numbering, and changing histories within the site document management system (EDMS) Ensuring drawings align with cGMP, FDA, safety, and internal engineering standards Supporting validation activities, audits, and regulatory documentation in partnership with Quality Assurance Collaborating with engineers, maintenance teams, and project managers on capital and small-scale projects Conducting site walkdowns to verify existing conditions and dimensions Reviewing vendor and contractor drawings and coordinating required updates Supplying drawings for improvement projects, investigations, and safety enhancements
