About The Position
Gandrud Auto Group is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Auto Collision Damage Appraiser to join our team in Green Bay, WI. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately evaluating vehicle damage to facilitate repair estimates and insurance claims while ensuring exceptional customer service and efficient workflow.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an auto collision damage appraiser or similar role.
- Strong understanding of automotive repair processes and insurance procedures.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with appraisal software and digital estimating tools is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Inspect vehicles to assess collision damage and determine repair needs.
- Prepare detailed and accurate damage appraisals and cost estimates.
- Work closely with insurance companies to facilitate claim approvals and processing.
- Communicate effectively with customers to explain damage reports and repair options.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of automotive repair techniques, parts pricing, and insurance guidelines.
- Collaborate with shop technicians and management to ensure repairs are completed as planned.
