Your Impact Advocate for care by working closely with State Case Managers to secure the vital hours our clients need to thrive at home. Manage the lifecycle of authorizations so there are no gaps in our clients’ care. Navigate the maze of Medicaid and other Care Portals with a “can do” attitude. Collaborate with our care and scheduling teams to ensure everyone is aligned and all service hours are covered under an authorization. Maintain clear, consistent, and respectful communication with administrative and caregiver staff regarding processes and related inquiries. Celebrate the wins as there is nothing better than getting hours approved on a difficult case! Qualifications A friendly professional who can build great rapport with both internal teammates and State Case Managers. Minimum two years of experience working with the nuances of authorization cycles in a Medicaid-funded environment. Comfortable interpreting Individual Service Plans (ISPs) and ensuring authorized units are accurately tracked and utilized. Experience using MMIS and eXPRS for checking eligibility, billing and troubleshooting denied status codes. Attention to detail is a must! You’re the type of person who catches the small stuff before it becomes a big problem.
