About The Position

This recruitment is being given to fill 1 (part-time/temporary) positions in the San Joaquin General Hospital and to establish an eligible referral pool to fill future (part-time/temporary) opportunities. Requirements

Education: Current enrollment in an accredited college or university audiology program as described by the State of California, Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispensers' Board.
Special Requirement: At the time of appointment, must possess and provide confirmation of a Required Professional Experience (REP) Temporary License issued by the State of California, Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispensers' Board.

Responsibilities

Performs assessments and interprets test results related to disorders of human hearing, balance and other neural systems.
Plans and implements treatment for patients; establishes appropriate treatment goals; uses equipment properly.
Coordinates treatment programs with physicians, nurses, professional and para-professional staff.
Records information on patient charts, maintains accurate records, and prepares written reports.
Attends staff meetings and patient conferences; participates in in-service and staff development class.
