About The Position

The Audio-Visual Specialist provides specialized support, coordination, implementation, maintenance, and repair of audio-visual systems and multimedia equipment including hardware and software to support classroom and conference room media technology. This role involves running live-stream events and providing hands-on technical or production support for small or large-scale events. The Audio-Visual Specialist enjoys interacting with faculty, staff, and students to support AV technology and events.

Responsibilities

• Provides specialized audio-visual support and services that includes multi-media, video, broadcasting, audio engineering for college events, conferences, live-streaming, and large-scale events.
• Installing and troubleshooting audio, video and AV control systems
• Connecting, tuning, and configuring AV setups as needed to ensure high-quality production
• Preventative maintenance activities for AV systems such as projector filters, sound quality, general system operation, pre-event system readiness testing.
• Other duties as assigned
