The Audience & Marketing Manager drives the strategy and execution of data-informed audience growth and marketing campaigns, with a focus on expanding and diversifying top-of-funnel audiences while deepening engagement in support of TED’s broader community goals. Working cross-functionally across media, events, product, and business teams, they’ll develop and implement campaigns that drive discovery, foster meaningful engagement, and build long-term audience connection. This includes growing audiences for TED’s newsletters, events, digital platforms, and community offerings through channels like email, web, and social, as well as exploring more interactive, user-driven levers. Their work will inform retention and loyalty efforts, as part of TED’s objective to foster active participation and conversation around TED ideas, Beyond individual projects, the Audience & Marketing Manager will oversee the team’s broader campaign ecosystem — ensuring efforts are strategically aligned, well-coordinated and effectively resourced. Additionally, they will support and strengthen a culture of data-informed decision-making by shaping reporting, contributing to audience research, and translating insights into actionable strategies.
