About The Position
Caring Transitions of Central Arizona assists clients with smooth and stress-free transitions, specializing in relocation, downsizing, decluttering, home clean-outs, and liquidations through online estate sales. The company is seeking part-time team members in the East Valley who are interested in meaningful, hands-on work that offers flexibility and the opportunity to positively impact others' lives. This role involves providing excellent customer service while safely and efficiently helping clients with their transitions. The position offers flexibility and part-time work with no guaranteed hours, making it ideal for individuals with busy schedules such as parents, college students, or retirees. Successful candidates will be adaptable, effective problem-solvers, capable of working independently with minimal supervision, and productive in a team environment.
Requirements
- Compassion and respect for clients and their families
- Ability to complete tasks and work in fast paced, changing environments
- Willingness to work in cluttered and/or dirty environments.
- Excellent prioritization and organizational skills
- Punctual and attentive to detail
- Have consistently reliable transportation and a smart phone for scheduling, time keeping and executing general project duties.
- 18 years or older with a valid Driver's License
- Must live in the east valley or nearby
Responsibilities
- Work on a team to downsize and relocate clients and liquidate unneeded items.
- Organize, pack, unpack, and resettle clients in their homes and in senior living communities.
- Sort items for recycling, donation, disposal and clean-out.
- Use hand-held devices to create, photograph, and describe items.
- Sort, organize, give descriptions and handle items for resale.
- Assist buyers during on-site pickup and sales.
- Stand for long periods, bend, lift up to 25 pounds, hang items at or above 4 feet, pack/unpack and label boxes, climb stairs.
- Carry supplies, items, and moving boxes to/from vehicles, within a home or outbuilding.
