About The Position

This role will be the primary technical resource for the Auburn Concept Laser M2 and EOS M280/290 DMLM area.

Requirements

  • Operating level of experience on both EOS M290 and Concept Laser M2 3D print platforms
  • Prior experience training individuals and/or groups on the operation of M290 and Concept Laser 3D printers
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
  • 2 Years experience in Manufacturing - 3D print operation is preferred
  • Ability to(A) read and interpret blueprints, (B) use precision measuring equipment such as micrometers, vernier, calipers, etc. and (C) perform shop math calculations including fraction and decimal equivalents.

Responsibilities

  • Assist production in resolving manufacturing technical issues through root cause problem solving with 3D print operations.
  • Train individuals/groups in DMLM operation.
  • Pursue continuous improvement for safety, quality, and cost reductions.
  • Support process engineers and teammates to establish continuous improvement strategies for current DMLM processes and for any new process/product development.
  • Setting up and running NPI/non-production additive builds or other processes
  • Willingness to fill in on production based on business need
  • Functional knowledge of engineering drawings, engineering specifications and manufacturing processes.
  • Knowledge of quality systems and procedures.
  • Demonstrated PC skills with working knowledge of Microsoft suite and Auburn production applications
  • Willingness to train new associates in specific areas of expertise
