As we continue to scale, we are seeking a skilled Technical Lead to drive the development of scalable, high-performance systems and lead our engineering team in building cutting-edge fintech products. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Technical Lead to guide our engineering team in designing, developing, and delivering scalable fintech solutions. In this role, you will take ownership of technical strategy, lead the development of critical projects, and mentor engineers to foster a high-performing, innovative team culture. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll balance coding with technical leadership in a dynamic startup environment.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
7+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or technical lead role.
Proficiency in backend technologies such as Java, Kotlin, and frontend frameworks like React and TypeScript.
Strong experience designing and building microservices-based systems and scalable cloud solutions.
Solid understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and development best practices.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control systems (Git), and cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Security-oriented mindset with knowledge of secure coding practices.
Proven ability to mentor and grow engineering talent.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
Experience working in Agile environments and leading cross-functional teams.

Nice To Haves

Experience in fintech, payments, ACH, and other regional payment networks or highly regulated industries.
Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
Familiarity with DevOps practices and infrastructure as code (IaC).
Exposure to performance monitoring and optimization tools.

Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable, high-performance fintech products.
Define and implement the technical strategy and roadmap in alignment with business objectives.
Provide hands-on technical leadership by actively contributing to coding, code reviews, and system design.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Ensure engineering best practices are followed, including secure coding, testing, and documentation standards.
Guide architectural decisions to ensure system scalability, reliability, and performance.
Mentor and support engineering team members in their technical and professional growth.
Drive continuous improvement in development workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes.
Identify and mitigate technical risks while delivering projects on time and within scope.
Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation.
Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment that encourages learning and growth.
