About The Position

Lakeside Mobile Support is seeking dedicated and compassionate Attendance Support Counselors to assist elementary, middle, and high school students facing challenges with daily school attendance. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals committed to making a positive impact on student success and well-being. The role offers flexible fee-for-service arrangements in the Downingtown School District area of Chester County, with potential additional locations in Wayne, Radnor, Bryn Mawr, and the outskirts of Villanova in Delaware County. Key Responsibilities: - Provide morning attendance support to students between 6:30 a.m. and 8:30 a.m., depending on individual cases - Offer after-school attendance support from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. for high school students who do not participate in morning sessions - Develop and implement strategies to improve student attendance and engagement - Collaborate with school staff, families, and community resources to address attendance barriers - Maintain accurate documentation of student interactions and progress - Adapt support approaches based on individual student needs and circumstances Skills and Qualifications: - Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Education, or a related field - Prior experience working with school-aged children and adolescents - Strong interpersonal and communication skills - Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule - Knowledge of local school district policies and community resources is a plus - Compassionate, patient, and committed to student success Lakeside Mobile Support values a collaborative and supportive work environment that fosters professional growth and community impact. Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Education, or a related field
  • Prior experience working with school-aged children and adolescents
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule
  • Compassionate, patient, and committed to student success
  • All Candidates must hold a master’s degree in counseling psychology, social work, or a related field.
  • Candidates will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, be able to work independently with integrity, and have experience working with regular and special education students who struggle with various mental health and behavioral issues.

Benefits

  • Mileage reimbursement is given for travel between students.
  • $40/hour
  • $24/hour for supervision/training
