About The Position

The primary purpose of this position is to maintain accurate attendance records for the campus. The role involves performing data entry, including attendance, Public Education Information Management System (PEIMS) data, and grades, under close supervision. Additionally, the individual will be responsible for managing Purchase Orders within the assigned campus.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to use software to develop spreadsheets and databases, and do word processing
  • Proficient in keyboarding, 10-key numerical data entry, and file maintenance
  • Ability to meet established deadlines
  • 3 years data entry experience

Responsibilities

  • Collect and enter attendance and PEIMS data into established database and verify accuracy according to prescribed procedures.
  • Maintain student records and process requests for student information and transcripts.
  • Process new student records, including requesting transcripts and records from other schools.
  • Assist parents, students, and faculty with questions regarding student attendance.
  • Contact parents/guardians to verify student absences as needed and report attendance problems to designated administrator.
  • Compile, maintain, file, and distribute all reports, records, and other documents as required following established procedures.
  • Prepare and make cash deposits for activity account(s).
  • May be responsible for maintenance of activity check register(s) and ledger(s).
  • Assist with campus budget preparation and maintain accurate records of expenditures.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders and receive, store, and issue supplies and equipment.
  • Maintain inventory of fixed assets, equipment, and supplies.
  • Assist in campus office as needed.
  • Maintain confidentiality.
  • Follow district safety protocols and emergency procedures.
