The District Attendance Coordinator will provide district-wide leadership to ensure consistent, compliant, and student-centered attendance practices that address chronic absenteeism and remove barriers to learning while promoting engagement and academic success. This role oversees monitoring systems, compliance reporting, and targeted interventions in partnership with all district and school administrators. The Coordinator uses data to identify trends, conducts student welfare visits to address barriers to attendance, and fosters culturally responsive outreach and family engagement. Through transparent communication, training, and collaboration, the role further strengthens the district’s culture of strong attendance and contributes to the mission of ensuring every student is present, supported, and ready to learn. Serving as a bridge between the district and families, the Coordinator will also develop outreach efforts, facilitate family conferences, and connect families to resources that address attendance challenges. This role also ensures transparent communication.
