About The Position

St. Xavier High School is seeking a detail-oriented and energetic Athletic Operations Coordinator to support the daily operations of the athletic department. This role is responsible for assisting with event management, program coordination, and operational logistics while working closely with the Athletic Director, coaches, parents, and booster organization.

• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends during athletic seasons
• Bachelor’s degree preferred (Sports Management, Education, Business, or related field)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general technology platforms

Nice To Haves

• Experience in athletics, event management, or school operations preferred
• Experience working with high school-aged students and/or athletic programs is a plus
• Basic knowledge of event operations and logistics

Responsibilities

• Assist with coverage and management of home athletic contests
• Coordinate and execute Senior Day and College Signing Day events
• Support team picture days and in-season logistics
• Oversee operations of all concession stands, including setup, staffing, and logistics
• Organize and manage team shops (spirit wear) for athletic programs
• Coordinate Meet the Team Night and preseason parent meetings
• Assist with postseason banquets and special events
• Work with team parents to support coaches and program needs
• Maintain and update team history, records, and archives
• Update championship banners, trophies, and displays
• Assist with Booster Membership coordination and engagement
• Help organize the Coaches Appreciation Dinner
• Support planning and execution of the Athletic Hall of Fame Dinner
