About The Position

The Department of Medicine is seeking applications for a part-time tenure/non-tenure or clinical track position with VA 8ths assignment for the Division of Rheumatology & Clinical Immunology at the Assistant/Associate/Full Professor level. Rank & Tenure status will be determined based on education and experience. Responsibilities will include patient care in the inpatient and outpatient settings as well as supervision/teaching of Rheumatology Fellows, Residents, and Medical Students. An interest in translational research is highly desirable. This position will require .25FTE at the Malcom Randall Veterans Affairs Medical Center. We enjoy a collaborative relationship with Shands Hospital and pride ourselves in professional and cooperative interdisciplinary care. These faculty positions will be based at our University teaching hospital with a potential option for part-time patient care duties at our immediately adjacent VA Hospital. Both hospitals serve a designated shortage area and/or a medically underserved area/population.
