The functions listed below represent the majority of the time spent working in this position. Management may assign additional functions related to the type of work of the position as necessary. This role assists with managing the court docket, preparing reports, maintaining court records, and preparing jail lists. The Assistant Court Coordinator also answers department telephones, provides assistance, requested documents and information, refers callers, and takes messages. Responsibilities include receiving, dating, and distributing incoming mail, maintaining office inventories and equipment, preparing requisitions for needed materials, equipment, and supplies, receiving and distributing incoming supply shipments, reviewing and coding invoices, and forwarding for payment. The position also involves preparing folders, maintaining files of department correspondence, program records, legal documents, photocopying documents, distributing and/or filing, and requesting information from other departments as necessary to complete department records/files. Additionally, the role assists with special projects as assigned and performs related work as required.

Requirements

  • Requires High School graduation or GED equivalent.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license with an acceptable driving history.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak the English language.
