About The Position

As a Trading Operations Associate, you’ll build your career in Financial Services through hands-on exposure to the full trade lifecycle, including both settlements and corporate actions. This role provides practical experience within the settlements ecosystem, helping you develop a strong operational foundation and expand your knowledge as you grow your career in the industry.

Requirements

4+ years prior Corporate Action Experience
Knowledge of DTCC portal is mandatory and SMART/track preferably
Ability to work in a deadline sensitive environment while maintaining good risk assessment and escalation awareness
Good multitasking and analytical skills with the availability to prioritize processes and responsibilities
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Computer proficiency in Excel and Word
Ability to incorporate AI into daily workflows; passion for ethical adoption of AI practices
Series 99/ SIE preferred (required to obtain within the first six months of employment)

Nice To Haves

Experience in using Shadow, Neolink and BMO OLBB is a plus
Series 99/ SIE preferred (required to obtain within the first six months of employment)

Responsibilities

Process Corporate Actions events and Coupon payments
Exhibit general knowledge of both domestic and foreign voluntary and mandatory corporate actions regulations
Daily monitoring and communication related to corporate actions event with clients
Manage shared inbox of all corporate action notifications and communication
Maintain and provide excellent customer services for both internal and external clients
Actively build strong relationships and work with other departments in both the middle and front office
Assist other members of the team on tasks related to Corporate action & Settlements
Follow up on open issues and escalate to management when necessary
