Inc., ensuring efficient execution, compliance, and strategic alignment with commercial objectives. This role focuses on managing operational risks, fostering strong team performance, and driving continuous improvement across shipping, scheduling, and trade processes.

Requirements

Proven experience in trading operations within a large organization, preferably in the energy or commodities sector
Demonstrated expertise in ancillary cost management and a strong understanding of commercial drivers
Exceptional communication, influencing, and listening skills, with a track record of effective collaborator engagement
Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities, capable of resolving complex operational challenges
In-depth knowledge of shipping/transport logistics, marine assurance, and trade compliance regulations
Solid understanding of trading fundamentals, sentiment, and trends in relevant markets
Experience in mentoring and developing high-performing teams
Proficiency in trading and scheduling operations systems and processes
Ability to troubleshoot technical and operational issues effectively under pressure

Responsibilities

Oversee and manage all aspects of trading operations, including scheduling, logistics, and settlement, ensuring timely and accurate execution of trades
Develop and implement strategies for effective ancillary cost management, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency gains
Provide strong leadership and mentorship to the operations team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment
Negotiate and manage relationships with external vendors, carriers, and counterparties, ensuring favorable terms and service levels
Ensure strict adherence to trade discipline and compliance regulations, mitigating operational and reputational risks
Apply commercial acumen to understand market dynamics, sentiment, and trends, translating insights into operational improvements
Act as a primary point of contact for complex operational issues, troubleshooting problems effectively and efficiently to minimize disruptions
Implement and maintain robust marine assurance processes to safeguard assets and ensure safe and compliant shipping/transport operations
Communicate clearly and concisely with internal and external stakeholders, influencing decisions and fostering strong working relationships
Drive continuous improvement initiatives within trading and scheduling operations, leveraging best practices and innovative solutions

This position is eligible for US Benefits – Core.
This position offers paid vacation depending on your years of relevant industry experience and will range from 120 – 240 hours of vacation per year for full time employees (60 - 240 hours of vacation per year for part time employees).
You will also be eligible for 9 paid holidays per year and 2 personal choice holidays.
