WE WANT PEOPLE WHO ARE PASSIONATE ABOUT PROVIDING BEST-IN-CLASS PRODUCT SUPPORT The Media Operations Technician is responsible for the capturing of all content that goes into the Vault. Good working knowledge of college sports and college conferences in general is a plus. This candidate will also be responsible for the daily programming schedule of game day operations including verifying when games will be played, which source to use to capture these games (Cable, DirecTV, DISH, Streaming) and the primary conference for each game. This position does require weekend and evening work based on the season and schedule.

  • Comfortable in a deadline-driven environment with rapidly changing priorities and a high volume of projects

  • Able to work collaboratively both internally with Digital Operations Team and Production Operations team, as well as externally with clients
  • Able to take direction and implement an action plan that delivers projects on time and with accuracy

Responsibilities

  • Execute Media Operations schedule and oversee daily Live Capture process
  • Maintain working knowledge of the conferences that we are working with and the content that needs to be captured
  • Tracking content as it arrives in Media Operations and maintaining the daily log of assets
  • Work on multiple projects and rapidly changing priorities
  • Work closely with the Digital Production Team to verify what content is captured and available on the SAN
  • Coordinate inbound Media Ops requests, either internal or external, and verify content has reached its destination
  • Work closely with the Vault development team and notify when there are any issues or problems with assets arriving at the vault
  • Verify that the quality control steps are taking place during Live Capture
