As Associate Systems Administrator , you’ll serve as a key member of the Information Technology team, providing day-to-day operational support for enterprise systems, networks, and IT service management platforms. This role is responsible for maintaining system reliability, responding to escalated service requests, and supporting the service desk team in the resolution of complex technical issues. The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in systems administration, a service-oriented mindset, and the ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure the continuity and security of organizational IT operations. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline; equivalent professional experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Demonstrated experience administering and supporting IT Service Management (ITSM) platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, FreshService, or comparable tools).
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Entra ID and Intune.
  • Working knowledge of PowerShell scripting for task automation, system configuration, and administrative reporting.
  • Experience supporting and maintaining Windows Server and/or Linux-based environments.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document technical procedures and interact professionally with end users at all levels.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain enterprise systems, network infrastructure, and virtualization platforms to ensure uptime and performance targets are met.
  • Administer and configuring the organization’s ITSM platform, including incident management workflows, service catalog items, and reporting dashboards.
  • Serve as an escalation point for the service desk team, providing Tier 2/Tier 3 support for complex technical issues that require advanced troubleshooting.
  • Assist with compliance-related activities, including evidence gathering, control documentation, and system hardening in alignment with applicable regulatory frameworks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support system deployments, upgrades, and change management processes.
  • Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts and automation tools to streamline recurring administrative tasks and improve operational efficiency.
  • Document standard operating procedures, technical configurations, and troubleshooting guides to support knowledge management and team continuity.
