The Associate Solution Consultant (SC) plays a key role in supporting Five9’s most strategic and productive resell partners. This early-career role sits at the intersection of technology, sales, and partnerships, helping our partners position and sell Five9’s cloud contact center solutions at scale. Your work will directly impact revenue, partner success, and our ability to grow efficiently through the resell ecosystem. You’ll work side-by-side with experienced Senior Solution Consultants in telecom, learning how to translate business problems into Five9 solution designs, deliver compelling demos, and guide partners through the technical aspects of the sales cycle. The SC that joins the team will become an expert in Five9’s own platform, capabilities, and architectures.

Requirements

  • A positive, “can-do” attitude and a strong willingness to learn, take feedback, and apply direction quickly.
  • Genuine excitement for customer- and partner-facing work , including presentations, demos, and collaborative problem-solving.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts in simple, clear language to a wide variety of audiences—from operators and admins to executives.
  • Strong collaboration skills and a team-first mindset; you enjoy working cross-functionally with sales, operations, product, and services.
  • Confidence in explaining technology once you’ve learned it, and comfort engaging with knowledgeable, experienced partner and customer teams.
  • Great organizational skills and the ability to absorb new concepts, tools, and product capabilities quickly.
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Willingness to travel for face-to-face partner meetings and events, along with Five9 events.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience or familiarity with APIs, cloud applications, telecommunications, or networking is a plus, but not required.
  • Curiosity and the drive to learn are essential .

Responsibilities

  • Support partner sales cycles as the key technical advisor for Five9 contact center solutions, primarily through our largest and most productive resell partners.
  • Help partners and prospects understand what’s possible on the Five9 platform, including core capabilities, configuration options, and common usage patterns.
  • Learn and then train partners on new Five9 products and features.
  • Deliver engaging demos and presentations that clearly communicate the value of Five9’s CCaaS product suite to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Assist with proof-of-concepts (POCs) and trials , collaborating with senior SCs, product management, and other internal teams to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Create and maintain enablement content (guides, slides, demo flows, best practices) that help partners confidently position and configure Five9 solutions.
  • Capture and distill partner and customer feedback , sharing insights with Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, and Sales to improve our offerings and GTM motions.
  • Continuously deepen your telecom and CCaaS knowledge by working closely with some of the most experienced Sr. SCs in the industry and applying that learning in live partner opportunities.
  • Work with other Five9 teams to help educate and support your assigned partners to become more knowledgeable around Five9 solutions.
