Position Summary: As an Associate Scientist, Product and Analytical Sciences within Cell Therapy Analytical Testing, this energetic, collaborative and motivated individual will be responsible for analytical testing in support of early and late-stage drug product and vector development. The ideal candidate will have experience executing assays across multiple disciplines including flow cytometry, molecular and functional cell-based assays. Strong knowledge of flow cytometry, cell sorters, multicolor flow panels, and data analysis is highly encouraged.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with a focus on life sciences w/ 1+ years of industry experience
  • Basic knowledge of methods used to characterize cellular and viral material is required
  • Specific knowledge of flow cytometry, cell-sorters, multicolor assays, and analysis is desired
  • Previous experience with assay automation is desired
  • Experience with ELN systems is preferred
  • Motivation and drive to acquire new skills and knowledge
  • Willingness to work in a regulated industrial environment
  • Excellent verbal, written, and oral communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Execute routine assays in support of multiple early and late-stage development efforts
  • Record results in an electronic lab notebook (ELN) for review and release
  • Gain proficiency in multiple methods
  • Act as a reviewer of ELN data entries
  • Present results to an audience of peers and program stakeholders as needed
  • Contribute to laboratory operations including reagent preparation, consumables restocking, and general cleanup/lab duties
  • Reinforce safe workplace practices in accordance with company and OSHA policies/procedures

Employees covered under a collective bargaining agreement should consult that document to determine if they are eligible. Contractors, leased workers and other service providers are not eligible to participate in the program.
