About The Position

The Quality Control Analyst is responsible for performing analytical testing and evaluations to assess product quality and performance. This role ensures accurate data compilation, proper issuance of Certificates of Analysis (CoA), compliance with ISO standards, and timely reporting of deviations while maintaining a positive and professional work environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Microbiology, Biology, Biochemistry, Entomology, Process Engineering, or a related scientific discipline.
  • Relevant laboratory or industry experience may be considered in lieu of specific degree requirements.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and database/accounting-type software systems.
  • Strong mathematical, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
  • Self-motivated with strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules as required.
  • Must not have a history of major allergies due to potential exposure to product materials.

Responsibilities

  • Generate and review Certificates of Analysis (CoAs) by collecting, verifying, and compiling product data for domestic and international customers; distribute documentation as required.
  • Perform and assist with physical testing of Neem oil and related products.
  • Prepare, execute, and document biological insect bioassays.
  • Conduct analytical testing using techniques such as Electrophoresis, Gas Chromatography (GC), High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), and Infrared Spectroscopy (IR).
  • Support environmental, health, and safety compliance activities to maintain adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure laboratory equipment is properly calibrated and serviced according to established schedules.
  • Manage sample handling, testing, data entry, and reporting within designated databases and systems.
  • Conduct physical testing procedures including moisture analysis, dry and wet sieve testing, pH, wettability, water breakdown, and dispersibility testing for granules, wettable powders, and technical powders.
  • Maintain accurate and complete documentation; revise or develop forms and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as necessary.
  • Promote and maintain a safe working environment by supporting safe work practices and participating in safety meetings and tailgates.
  • Identify and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness of laboratory processes.
  • Learn, develop, implement, and provide training on existing and new product testing procedures.
  • Support the ISO program and maintain assigned quality documentation and records.
  • Monitor laboratory inventory levels and coordinate ordering of supplies as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support departmental and organizational objectives.
