The Associate Sales Manager supports the sales team by assisting with daily sales activities, customer interactions, and administrative functions. This role is designed for a high-potential sales professional looking to develop leadership skills while continuing to build a strong foundation in sales execution and customer relationship management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 0–2 years of sales, customer service, or business experience
  • Strong interest in sales leadership and career growth
  • Basic proficiency with CRM systems or willingness to learn
  • Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills

Responsibilities

  • Assist sales representatives with lead follow-up, quotes, and order processing
  • Manage a small portfolio of accounts or inbound leads
  • Support achievement of team sales goals through proactive outreach and follow-up
  • Participate in customer calls, meetings, and presentations alongside senior sales staff
  • Help reinforce sales processes, tools, and CRM data accuracy
  • Serve as a point of contact for basic sales questions and coordination
  • Maintain accurate customer and opportunity data in the CRM system
  • Assist with tracking sales activity, pipeline updates, and basic forecasting
  • Prepare simple reports and summaries for sales leadership
  • Help resolve routine customer issues and escalate as needed
