About The Position

The Associate Sales Account Specialist will provide account and sales team support. This position will support the National Account Team as the team leads the sales strategic direction to drive revenue, strategy and execution of sales initiatives to ensure the attainment of BISSELL volume and profit objectives. The Associate Sales Account Specialist will assist in preparation for all account meetings and will also participate in the meetings as this is a sales development role.

  • 3+ years of working in a sales or marketing department within an Electronics, Appliance or CPG manufacturer
  • Ideal candidate will have knowledge of the National Accounts that Bissell supplies

Responsibilities

  • Support the maintenance and development of trade customer account base through implementation of overall marketing plan. The Associate Sales Account Specialist will support the development of account presentations and overall follow through with retail customer.
  • Maintain overall knowledge of National Account customer base. Will learn most efficient and economical way to accomplish overall sales and marketing goals of BISSELL. The Account Management Associate will develop customer relationships at the buyer and logistics analyst level.
  • Support the development of promotional programs and plans. Qualified candidate will have promotional budget responsibility. Support the management of advertising budgets, determining most efficient means of spending funds while maintaining overall marketing goals as well as meeting customer expectations for retail movement of BISSELL products.
  • Track and maintain customer orders from initial entry into order system to final delivery to customer. Provide customer with necessary information with regards to order and shipping status.
  • Process and track advertising claims through internal BISSELL system. Fill out Marketing Funds Commitment Forms and maintain records of corresponding credit memos. Clear outstanding claims in an efficient and appropriate manner.
  • Support effective communication of all retailer information throughout the organization including Marketing, Customer Service, Retail Account Coordinators and A/R Coordinators.
  • Supports planning and implementation of trade shows, store checks, new store openings, store sets and sales calls. There will be the need from time to time to lift product packages.
