Associate Project Manager
About The Position
The Program Manager, Asset Project Management leader works with Asset Team Directors to provide operational support to meet Asset and Corporate objectives. As a core member of the highly matrixed Asset Team, the individual must work cross functionally with SMEs, line directors and, occasionally, VPs to align resources and drive results. Responsibilities will typically include mid to late phase assets Participates in asset discussions and may occasionally lead cross functional projects & initiatives. Partners with Asset Leaders to manage resources and timelines to complete projects. Leads PM system improvement initiatives designed to increase the efficiency and speed of asset/drug candidate development. The Associate Program Manager, Asset Project Management leader works with Asset Team Directors to provide operational support to meet Asset and Corporate objectives.
Requirements
- 4-8 years of relevant experience
- Strong understanding of the drug development process and the science/engineering driving decisions.
- Understanding of project management techniques, best practices and their application.
- Ability to work in a matrix organ
