As an Associate Project Manager , you will be empowered to bring your abilities and expertise to develop key programs and collaborate with other peers to execute best practices in the flow of high-profile nuclear projects. The ideal candidate for this position will have a high level of organization, excellent communication, and coordination skills in a safe and effective manner to keep projects on track while keeping relevant stakeholders informed of project progress and timelines.

Requirements

Advanced computer skills including the use of Office Suite and especially Excel
Advanced previous use and understanding of MRP systems, JDE a plus
Ability to operate with a sense of urgency and distribute time sensitive and accurate data
Ability to blend multiple sources of data to formulate opinions, recommendations, and possesses analytical mindset
Comfortable holding others accountable to ensure successful delivery
Demonstrated ability to successfully achieve goals through influence, or escalate issues through proper channels.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to identify roadblocks in engineering, material, operations, information flow and manage exceptions
High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
0-2 years’ professional supply chain or related experience
Experience working with and interpreting orders, BOMS, routings, and inventory/ERP systems
Ability to remain in stationary position or standing position for prolonged periods and alternate between
Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including, but not limited to, safety glasses, steel-toed or metatarsal-guarded shoes, and/or ear plugs, while working in an industrial and/or manufacturing environment.
Ability to frequently sit, stand, walk, and reach within hands and/or arm’s length.
Ability to repeat gross or fine manipulation that may include the use of wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
Ability to perform close visual inspections of products, which may include specific vision requirements.
Ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects up to 25 pounds in weight in all directions
Ability to occasionally reach overhead or at or below shoulder level
Ability to occasionally stoop, crouch, or kneel
Ability to constantly communicate with others to exchange information in person, via phone, or via use of computer.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, logistics, or engineering
Experience using JDE E1

Responsibilities

Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and assist in the creation of comprehensive project plans/schedules.
Work with cross functional teams to determine if work should be outsourced due to plant capabilities, machining capacity, and cost effectiveness.
Monitor project progress and facilitate the flow of information between multiple departments to keep project timelines intact.
Proactively identify potential risks, assist in resolving issues, and help implement solutions to prevent project delays.
Provide regular status updates to stakeholders and maintain strong, collaborative relationships, both inside and outside the plant.
Ensure all deliveries meet required State, Federal, and Customer standards.
If necessary, facilitate scope changes.
Conduct post-project evaluations to identify successes and opportunities for improvements.
