Curricular Responsibilities Coordinate the program curriculum review process in alignment with University and departmental policies, ensuring all required documentation, approvals, and timelines are met. Support the program chair in reviewing and updating the two-year course rotation and semester course schedules to ensure appropriate course sequencing, faculty coverage, and alignment with student demand. Assist the program chair in evaluating student petitions related to course substitutions and transfer credit decisions, ensuring consistency with program standards and accreditation requirements. Coordinate program review and curriculum update efforts in response to changes in licensure requirements, accreditation standards, or other external factors, as requested by the program chair. Assist in the curricular revision and the required governance process (Curriculum Committees, AUC presentations) as well as in the process of program approval as required by DESE. Faculty Responsibilities Assist the program chair in the evaluation of faculty teaching in accordance with the Division of Graduate and Continuing Education (DGCE) contract. Assist the program chair in the communication with program faculty on a semester basis and in the orientation and onboarding of new faculty. Review the syllabi of faculty teaching each semester & make recommendations to faculty as needed Attend School of Education meetings. Assist the program chair with the Extended Campus semester-based course schedule review process. Students Assist in appropriate policy actions needed by students (e.g. acceptance of transfer credits, graduation review, etc.) and prepare "waiver forms" Assist the program chair with annual program evaluation work which includes a review of enrollment and reporting on curriculum updates. Note Graduate Program Chairs/Assistant and Associate Chairs conduct their work collaboratively with and through Department Chairs.
