The Education Programs Assistant will work closely with the Coordinator of Education and managerial staff to support the coordination of education programs including school, family, access, and partnership programs. The Education Programs Assistant is responsible for all aspects of booking and scheduling group visits to the museum for diverse audiences. The assistant will support the Education Coordinator to serve as the main point of contact for schools, colleges, and community groups visiting the museum. They will respond to requests; manage the group visits calendar; assist with scheduling museum educators; floor management, maintain files and attendance documentation; process invoices and payments; and support promotion and outreach. As a member of the Education team, the Education Programs Assistant will attend exhibition training; support the development of educator resources, participate in the planning of family, community, and partnerships events; and lead tours as needed.
