About The Position

The Associate Product Returns Specialist - Receiver will be responsible for receiving and processing all RMAs—including repair, calibration, and credit returns—as well as managing credit return transactions. Also maintains and updates the problem rack for rejected orders and follows up on credit holds and problem returns to ensure timely resolution.

Requirements

  • 2 Years experience in customer service in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Must have previous experience in roles with direct interaction with external customers.
  • Accuracy and speed using keyboard
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment interacting with all facets of the business including operations, finance, sales, and engineering organizations.
  • Proficient computer skills such as Microsoft Office, word & excel with a strong background in Data Entry.
  • Ability to read and write English and effectively communicate both verbally and written
  • Excellent multi-tasking skills
  • Professional and strong verbal/written communication skills
  • Must be mature, dependable and capable of working with little supervision.
  • Must be able to lift up to 30lbs

Responsibilities

  • Interface with various departments daily as necessary to meet customers’ requirements.
  • Work with Finance team to ensure all AP, C1, CA & NP HOLDs are released in a timely manner to ensure product is moved to Service Techs quickly. This requires daily follow-up emails until hold is resolved.
  • Opens all Service & RMA boxes, reviews and enters all returns for credit, calibration & service into designated systems.
  • Misc paperwork received inside/outside of return boxes are to be reviewed for updates and then scanned & saved into the specific RMA.
  • Rejects any orders which do not arrive with the proper documentation and works directly with the H&S manager and customer to get to resolve any issues.
  • Perform all duties required to process RMA credits from receipt to closure. This includes inspection of products, restocking and delivering products back to allocated FF RMA racks, status requests and reaching out to customers if product returned does not meet requirements.
  • Responsible for resolving all Quality issues related to receipts.
  • Perform all duties required to process returns for service. Help with status requests and processing submissions.
  • Daily Work in MS Teams, JDE order management, customer issues database, word and excel.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • All other duties as assigned
