About The Position

As an Associate Product Manager, you will partner with key internal teams, engage in customer research, execute data-driven prioritization to design, build, and launch initiatives driving supporting both customer needs and business objectives and key results. You will support the product managers in translating business strategies into product strategies, value increments, and product specifications. You will be the product champion the product vision effectively to stakeholders and independently drive to agreement on product requirements and direction from a wide and diverse population of product customers. This role is hybrid, which means you will be required to work some days on-site at the Best Buy location listed on this posting and some days virtually from home or another non-Best Buy location. The specific work arrangements vary by role and team. The recruiter or hiring manager will provide more details during the hiring process. Develop skills in leveraging data and retrospectives to identify opportunities, solve customer problems, and enhance product performance.

Requirements

  • 1.5 years of relevant experience in a professional environment with an emphasis on consumer products, technology, or software development
  • Track record of product outcome execution; completing and shipping excellent products that deliver clear results
  • Proven ability to articulate clear and concise requirements for new products and new features
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Marketing or related field OR equivalent experience

Nice To Haves

  • 2 years related experience in a professional environment with emphasis on consumer products, technology, or software development
  • 1 year of experience with Agile methodologies
