The Associate Product Manager is responsible for designing, developing, and managing activities for a specific product or group of products from product definition and planning through production, release and end of life. This position is the central resource with design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing as the product(s) move from production through distribution Essential Functions: Collaborates with management to establish strategic plans and objectives Implements functional strategy and contributes to the development of organizational policies Develops sound mechanical, pre-clinical, and clinical data of scientific merit on all technologies developed Performs and maintains a market analysis for each assigned product segment to identify new offerings and line extensions Creates and manages a project plan for each project in conjunction with the engineer Leads coordination and documentation of project team activities including kick- off meetings, design review meetings, verification/validation and cadaver lab utilization Develops marketing plans for each product introduction Forecasts and oversees inventory management for all projects Ensures timely and high-quality documentation of DHFs, DMRs, and DHRs for each project according to the company’s quality policy and regulatory bodies Develops technique guides, product literature, brochures, sales binders, and other sales support collateral Partners with operations and purchasing to source products through company supply chain Adheres to the letter and spirit of the company Code of Conduct, the AdvaMed Code, MedTech Code, and all other company policies.
