About The Position

The Associate Product Manager supports the development and execution of marketing strategies to achieve objectives in sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction. Working under the guidance of Product Managers and the Vice President, this role coordinates projects related to product development and maintenance. Responsibilities include managing the full product lifecycle, from defining market requirements and concept development to design, launch, and ongoing production for sustained profitability. Success in this role requires effective communication and collaboration within cross-functional teams, including Sales, Engineering, Customer Support, Quality, and Operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Marketing, or a related field (Master's degree or MBA preferred).
  • One to three years of experience in product management or technical sales/marketing within industrial or similar markets.
  • Knowledge of product design and manufacturing principles, bills of material, industrial marketing and sales practices, technical product applications, and customer service principles.
  • Experience working in or leading cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and organizational capabilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Skilled in cross-functional collaboration across diverse environments and cultures.
  • Commitment to integrity and ethical standards.
  • Highly motivated, innovative, and detail-oriented.
  • Proficiency in IT tools and data analysis platforms.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred experience with fluid power or hydraulic instrumentation products (pressure, level, temperature, or flow) across multiple industries.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to long-term vision and strategy for electronic and mechanical product families through market research, segmentation, share estimates, and competitive analysis.
  • Define product roadmaps with prioritized development initiatives, resource requirements, and technical gap assessments.
  • Partner with Sales to deliver timely customer proposals for modified product requests.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends and project activity to prepare accurate sales forecasts.
  • Apply data-driven methods to optimize the existing product portfolio based on market demand and growth opportunities.
  • Conduct market assessments and develop competitive landscapes for pricing.
  • Develop and implement pricing strategies aligned with market opportunities.
  • Support productivity improvement projects to reduce costs and improve margins.
  • Work under the guidance of Product Managers to coordinate marketing activities that meet customer goals and drive sales growth.
  • Travel up to 10-15% to engage with customers, gather market insights, and support business objectives.
