About The Position

The Associate Product Manager (APM) is an entry point into the product management track, designed for individuals transitioning from business analysis or early in their product career. The APM owns sprint-level execution while learning how to think strategically about roadmap planning, customer problems, and product vision. APMs are expected to work closely with engineering, UX, and their GPM to deliver value efficiently and consistently. In teams without a dedicated BA, the APM also owns user story documentation, backlog management, and feature readiness. A seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of area of specialization. Emerging understanding of broader organizational context and goals. Resolves a wide range of issues in creative ways. This job is the fully qualified, career-oriented, journey- level position.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience defining detailed technical user stories and use cases
  • 3+ years of product management experience.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps, AirFocus, and agile development workflows
  • Experience or interest in AI prompting for specs, analysis, or prototyping
  • Basic UX sensibility; ability to collaborate on wireframes and flows using Figma or similar tools
  • Excellent written, verbal, and PowerPoint communication
  • Understanding of data, dependencies, and integration workflows is a plus
  • High level of adaptability and ability to thrive in fast-paced, evolving work environment by quickly adjusting to shifting priorities, embracing change and maintaining productivity under pressure
  • Proactive, self-starter looking to grow into a strategic product role
  • Highly collaborative individual who is not afraid to ask questions or challenge ideas respectully
  • Growth mindset with openness to feedback and commitment to continuous improvement
  • Typically requires a minimum of 3-5 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with GPM to shape product vision, goals, and quarterly outcomes
  • Own backlog grooming, story writing, and sprint planning in partnership with engineering
  • Use AI tools and Figma to draft early concepts, flows, and requirement summaries
  • Define and refine user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Partner with UX and QA for design reviews and test validation
  • Track feature progress and assist with go-to-market readiness (release notes, internal training)
  • Participate in customer and stakeholder interviews led by GPMs
  • Contribute to documentation, user guides, and org readiness materials
  • Be a flexible and supportive team member, assisting with other responsibilities as they arise.
