About The Position

Collective Health's mission is to transform people's healthcare experience from confusing and complicated to empowering and trustworthy. Our goal is to provide the most configurable, reliable, and easy to use benefits administration experience for our customers and we are looking for an Associate Product Manger (APM) to join our TPA product team and assist with the delivery of key initiatives. As an APM, you'll work closely with our engineering, design, operations, and commercial teams to continually enhance our products and optimize healthcare value for employers, as well as employees and their dependents. You'll work closely with a diverse and multi-disciplinary team to gather, structure, and prioritize product requirements from internal and external stakeholders to execute your roadmap across our deep technology stack and deliver industry-leading service at scale.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • 2 - 4 years of product management experience in healthcare
  • Experience in healthcare provider payments and healthcare provider data management is required
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast paced and matrixed team environment
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Passion for technology and product development
  • Adaptability to thrive in highly complex and changing environments

Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis
  • Gathering and analyze user needs and feedback
  • Identify and scope business needs and translate those needs into product requirements
  • Write user stories and maintain Jira boards for product initiatives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional team with Product Manager guidance to scope necessary work and ensure that features are delivered to specification and on time
  • Maintain and update product documentation
  • Triage and escalate issues that may arise related to your product area
  • Coordinate delivery schedules with other product managers and business owners as needed
  • Manage the backlog of features and prioritize appropriately
  • Communicate progress to stakeholders, functional owners, and internal team members
