About The Position

The Pricing Analyst supports pricing strategy and execution by managing quote processes, maintaining pricing data integrity, and delivering actionable insights that inform business decisions. This role partners cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Service, Finance, and external customers to ensure accurate and timely pricing execution while driving analytical rigor in pricing decisions..

Requirements

  • Microsoft Office expertise, especially in Excel. SAS, SPSSX, SQL, Salesforce expertise a plus.
  • Ability to consistently provide clear and concise written and verbal communication.
  • Analytical and organized with relentless attention to detail.
  • Strong intellectual curiosity and affinity for numbers.
  • Ability to understand data, identify risks, develop recommendations and implement solutions.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills; problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to or appropriately route incoming pricing and quote requests from internal teams (Sales, Customer Service, Finance) and external customers.
  • Support the annual direct customer quote and price list process, including preparing, distributing, and tracking pricing documentation and related customer communications in a timely and professional manner.
  • Process and track customer-specific pricing requests to ensure timely and accurate execution.
  • Partner with Pricing Analysts and the List Pricing team to deliver timely data extraction, pricing updates, and analytical support that informs pricing decisions
  • Assist with price list maintenance and customer tier verification as needed.
  • Identify discrepancies or inconsistencies in pricing data and escalate appropriately
  • Accomplishes the integration of internal and external data to drive better understanding on decisions at the business level such as financial, brand strategy and commodities vs niche/proprietary products.
  • Exploring the data, mining the data and looking for insights to drive pricing decisions.
  • Practice effective compliance management by adhering to required standards and processes
  • Performs other duties as assigned
