About The Position

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Planning & Scheduling (IP&S) has an exciting opportunity for an Associate or Mid-Level Integrated Planning & Scheduling Specialist (Level 2 or 3) to support the Fabrication Integration IP&S team in Mascoutah, Illinois reporting to the BDS Fabrication IP&S Manager. The candidate must have demonstrated analytical capability and excellent communication skills with the ability to interface with multiple cross-functional peers and managers. Flexibility, initiative, detail orientation, and willingness to learn new areas are essential requirements to successfully perform in this dynamic and exciting environment. Position Responsibilities: Prepare, integrate, analyze, and maintain comprehensive plans and schedules for proposals, projects, and major initiatives to achieve objectives. Conduct studies and analyses across programs and business units to assess impacts, constraints, and strategies related to product development, production rates, and process improvements. Develop production schedules for parts / assemblies. BRAIDSS experience is preferred, but not necessary as we will train the right candidate. Collaborate with various programs and functions, including Centers of Excellence (CoEs) at other BDS sites across the US. Identify, analyze, and report on schedule performance variances; conduct risk and opportunity analyses, and propose solutions to management. Work with internal customers to create performance recovery plans and document them as needed. Analyze program scenarios to assess the impact of proposed schedule changes on Supply Chain and Fabrication using tools such as Assurance of Supply (AoS) Bom Simulation and MPS Change Simulation. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • 1+ year experience working with and partnering with cross-functional teams on projects and initiatives
  • Experience using Integrated Scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project, Open Plan Professional, Primavera, etc.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office Applications

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a Fabrication environment
  • Knowledge of MRP demand planning systems
  • BRAIDSS experience preferred, but will train the right candidate
